Dear LVN Members,
It’s National Volunteers Week and I am extraordinarily grateful for each and every one of you who dedicates your time and energy to support the LVN community. Your commitment to making a difference through volunteering is truly inspiring.
I want to take this opportunity to say “Thank You” to all of our volunteers. Each of you plays a vital role in shaping the success of LVN. Whether you're contributing to the LVNx Conference Experience through service on the Conference Planning Committee or Subcommittees, helping plan the LVN Road Trips, curating educational initiatives like webinars and podcasts by serving on the Education Committee, furthering the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN), your efforts do not go unnoticed.
To members of the Extended Committee, you are the heart of our volunteer program as you are the foundation for our collective endeavors. The Extended Committee provides a platform for volunteers to immerse themselves in various activities, gaining valuable insights into the intricate workings of LVN's committees. This exposure not only helps volunteers discover where their interests and expertise lie but also enables them to make informed decisions about their future involvement within LVN.
Last, but nowhere close to the least, I would like to thank my friend and colleague, Rayner Fredrick, for graciously agreeing to serve alongside me this year as Assistant Volunteer Director. Rayner has been invaluable in helping us accomplish our tasks.
I am excited about the journey ahead and the opportunities that await us. Together, we will continue to strengthen our community, foster innovation, and drive positive change. As we celebrate National Volunteers Week, let us reflect on the impact we have made and look forward to the countless possibilities that lie ahead.
If you haven't already, I encourage you to begin your journey with LVN leadership by applying for the Extended Committee. Your involvement will not only enrich your own experience but also contribute to the collective success of LVN.
Thank you once again for your dedication and commitment. Here's to the amazing work we will accomplish together!
Warm regards,
Brad Antici
LVN Volunteer Director
